BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases ticket and parking information for the CWPA Championship this weekend on Friday-Sunday, November 22-24, at Brown University's Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center in Providence, R.I.
Fans attending the CWPA Championship can pay for either a three-day tournament pass ($25) or a one-day pass ($10) for the tournament. Brown students, faculty and staff with a valid college ID will be covered by the school and will need to present ID and sign-in when entering the pool. Senior citizens 65 and older, will be admitted at discounted prices of $10 (tournament pass) and $5 (one-day pass). All children 12 and under are free of charge.
All tickets are available at the door as there are no advance ticket sales for the tournament.
Per the Brown website, visitors/spectators may find parking on the streets in and around campus, or in the Visitors Parking lot on Brook St. behind Minden Hall—at the intersection of Brook St. and Waterman St. View map.
Much of the street parking around Brown is in the form of metered spots, which cost 25 cents, or one quarter, for every 12 minutes, or $1.25 in quarters per hour.
Visitor Parking Lot Rates
- Mon - Fri 8am - 6pm $3.00/hour
- All Day Rate until 6pm (M-F) $15.00
- Weekdays after 6pm, weekends, holidays $1.50/hour
Spectators can also park in lots 89, 90 and 1 on Friday (after 5:00 p.m.) and all day Saturday & Sunday (see map below).
However, all fans will need to find other street parking or vistiors parking on Brook Street before 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Tickets can and most likely will be issued for illegally parked vehicles (towing is also a possibility), so please be aware of all parking regulations in Providence and on the campus of Brown University.
