ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- No. 14-ranked Princeton University completed a 3-0 weekend at the North-vs.-South Tournament with a 13-6 win against Fordham University at the United States Naval Academy.
Princeton is now 8-0 through a pair of perfect weekends.
Princeton jumped to a big lead in the win, outscoring Fordham 5-1 in the opening quarter and 7-2 at the half.scored three goals to lead the Princeton offense while , and all chipped in two goals apiece to lead Princeton's eight goal scorers. , Donahue and added a pair of assists in the game and had a team-high four assists.
Princeton scored on both of its man-up chances and Hoffenberg scored the first of his goals on a 5-meter shot. Fordham scored on one of its two chances.made five saves in the opening half while stopped four shots in the second half.
Princeton now stands 8-0 this season. The Tigers' start is its best since the 2004 team opened its season with 10 consecutive wins.
