BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Defending Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Eastern Champion Princeton University will open its 2012 men's season on national television for the fourth consecutive year as ESPNU will broadcast live the Tigers' game versus the University on California Friday, September 7 from DeNunzio Pool.
It will mark the fourth straight Princeton men's game to appear on live television as ESPNU broadcast previous season-opening Princeton Invitational games against the University of California-Los Angeles (2009) and Santa Clara University (2010, 2011).
Game time is tentativley set at 6:00 p.m.
Princeton is coming off another standout season as the 1992, 2006, 2008 and 2011 CWPA Eastern Champion will seek to improve on a No. 10 finish in the final Top 20 Poll of the season and a third place mark at last year's National Collgiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship.
