PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Board of Directors, upon reviewing established league policy, has decided to revert the Southern Division Championship schedule this weekend at Bucknell University to its original format.

The change is the second in two days as the format was adjusted yesterday afternoon, but was readdressed in the wake of a league policy review earlier today.  It was decided that championship formats can only be addressed at the league's Annual Meeting.

The six-team championship will begin on Saturday, April 14 as No. 1 seed/No. 14 nationally-ranked Princeton University takes on No. 5 seed George Washington University at 10:00 a.m. in bracket play.  Following a game between No. 2 seed Harvard University and No. 6 seed Mercyhurst University at 11:30 a.m., host/No. 4 seed Bucknelln will meet GW at 3:00 p.m.  Action resumes at 4:30 p.m. with a game between No. 3 seed Brown University and Princeton at 4:30 p.m. before the Bison and Tigers clash at 7:00 p.m.  Day One action finishes at 8:30 p.m. when the Crimson and Bears clash to set the field for placement games.

On Sunday, Third Place in Bracket A will face Third Place in Bracket B for fifth place (9:00 a.m.), Second in Bracket B takes on Second in Bracket A for third place (10:30 a.m.) and First in Bracket A clashes with First in Bracket B (Noon) for the division title.

The Southern Division Champion is guaranteed no lower than the No. 2 seed for the CWPA Eastern Championship on April 27-29 at Brown University in Providence, R.I., while the remainder of the field featuring all the teams from the Western and Southern Divisions will be established via a seeding commitee comprised of the league's head coaches.

For fans unable to attend the championship at Bucknell’s Kinney Natatorium, multiple video-streaming subscription packages are available those who wish to watch the whole tournament or just select contests.

All three Bucknell games over the weekend will air live on Bison Vision, via www.BucknellBison.com. Fans who are not already subscribers to Bison Vision can sign up for a month subscription for $9.95. All Bucknell games will feature a multi-camera setup with audio commentary, as is customary for Bison Vision events.

Additionally, fans can sign up to watch all nine games of the Southern Championships via Everest Youth Sports (www.eysports.com). A subscription that will cover the entire weekend is $39.95, while a single-game subscription is $19.95. The Bucknell games will also be streamed live via www.eysports.com. The non-Bucknell broadcasts are expected to feature a multi-camera setup and no audio commentary.
