Princeton University's Audrey Zak Previews No. 12 Tigers Games at George Washington University & No. 12 University of Maryland This Weekend

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Princeton University defender Audrey Zak (Sr., Carlsbad, Calif./Carlsbad) previews the No. 12 Tigers Southern Division game at George Washington University on Friday, March 30 and non-league showdown at fellow No. 12-ranked University of Maryland on Saturday, March 31.

Both games will have significance for  the Tigers as Princeton has already clinched the No. 1 seed for the Southern Division Championship tournament on April 14-15 at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa., but will need to knock off George Washington to maintain its No. 12 national ranking.

Although not a Southern Division game, the contest at Maryland will also have bearing on Princeton's Eastern Championship hopes.  Per CWPA rules, seeding for the championship is done by comparing the head-to-head results of the teams against one anothter.  If Princeton claims the Southern Division crown, and the Western Division leading Terrapins capture their division title, the victor of the Maryland-Princeton game would claim the No. 1 seed for the Eastern Championship.
