Amended Princeton University Invitational Schedule Released
PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Princeton University Department of Athletics has released an amended schedule of games for the Princeton Invitational on September 10-12 at DeNunzio Pool. The Tigers will play four games during the three days, including a Friday night game against Santa Clara that will be televised live on ESPNU.
The game will mark the second time in as many seasons that a Princeton men's water polo game will appear on live television. Last season ESPNU aired Princeton's season opener against UCLA. Over the past three seasons, the Princeton water polo events have been televised live on ESPNU, including a women's game in the 2009 season.
Princeton was 16-12 in 2009 and won the Eastern Championship for its first National Collegiate Athletic Assocaition (NCAA) Tournament berth since the 2004 season. Princeton finished third at the Championship with a win over Loyola Marymount University in the third-place game.
