Flashback Friday: KAP7 Tip of the Week - Guarding a Center as a Smaller Player

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) looks back at a KAP7 Tip of the Week from October 2016 in which former University of Southern California (USC) National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Champion Johnathon Hewko talks about what to do if you are a smaller water polo player. He highlights what to do if you get stuck guarding a center position player, as well as how to avoid getting stuck with guarding the center position.

Now in its fourth year of existence since the first video was released on February 4, 2013, the KAP7 Tip of the Week series features instruction on basic skills (egg-beater, passing, goalie technique) and more advanced skills and tricks to help players raise their game to another level.  Past presenters include Olympic goalie Genai Kerr, Hewko, Stanford University star Kelly Eaton and KAP7 co-founders/Olympians Brad Schumacher and Wolf Wigo.
