Collegiate Water Polo Association Announces Officiating Crew for 2017 Women's National Collegiate Club Championship at the University of Pittsburgh

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Coordinator of Officials Ed Reed has announced the selection of six referees for the 2017 Women's National Collegiate Club Championship at the University of Pittsburgh on Friday-Sunday, May 5-7.

Dave Alberstein (Viaslia, Calif.), CWPA Hall of Fame member Mike Schofield (Arnold, Md.), Pat Beemer (Revloc, Pa.), Jeremiah "Jay" O'Neil (Johnstown, Pa.), Tiffany Urbanski (Chicago, Ill.) and Nikola Malezanov (Pittsburgh, Pa.) will call the 30-game, three-day championship event with representatives from all 15 women's collegiate club divisions in the CWPA.

The crew features four former/current varsity head coaches as Schofield (United States Naval Academy men's - retired), Beemer (Saint Francis University men's - current), O'Neil (Bucknell University, Salem International University, Washington & Jefferson College - former men's/women's coach) and Malezanov (Washington  & Jefferson - former women's coach/incoming men's & women's coach) each coached in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as well as officiated the game.
