BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Shay Banton (Fr., Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) of Washington University in St. Louis contributed 12 goals, 17 assists and 10 steals in a 2-2 weekend for the Bears to claim the October 17 Missouri Valley Division Player of the Week award.

Washington, which will enter the Missouri Valley Division Championship on October 22-23 at Clayton High School in Clayton, Mo., fell to Lindenwood University "A" (19-9 L) and Lindenwood University "B" (14-13 L), while defeating Lindenwood University "C" (12-2 W) and St. Louis University (14-11 W) over the weekend.
