CWPA Releases 2011 Men's Collegiate Club Southeast Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) has released the 2011 Men's National Collegiate Club Southeast Division schedule.
Comprised of Auburn University, Clemson University, Emory University, University of Georgia, Georgia Tech University and Vanderbilt University, competition will feature two regular season tournaments at the University of Georgia (September 24-25) in Athens, Ga. and Auburn University (October 1-2) in Auburn, Ala. before the division championship at Emory University (October 22-23) in Atlanta, Ga. with an automatic berth to the National Collegiate Club Championship at stake.
Georgia Tech has been the dominant force in the division with five titles (2009, 2008, 2007, 2003, 2002), while Georgia (2010) holds one championship since Southeast play began in 2000. The other five crowns are all held by former division members with current Florida Division members the University of Florida (2001, 2000) and Florida International University (2006, 2005, 2004) combining to complete the Southeast's history.
