BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- California Polytechnic State University continues to hold a grip on the No. 1 ranking in the Women's National Collegiate Club Top 20 Poll as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) released the Week 7/March 10 edition of the rankings.

Ranked No. 1 since the preseason poll following back-to-back-to-back National Collegiate Club Championship titles in 2008, 2009 and 2010, the Mustangs earned 100 points to remain the unanimous choice of the pollsters at No. 1.  The University of California-Davis hangs on at No. 2, while the University of Michigan and University of California-Los Angles remain at No. 3 and 4, respectively.

The University of Oregon, which claimed the Northwest Division title and an automatic berth to the National Collegiate Club Championship at the University of Notre Dame, improves to No. 5, while the University of California-Berkeley, University of California-San Diego, Notre Dame, University of California-Santa Cruz and University of Florida round out the Top 10.

In the final 10 positions in the poll, the University of Utah retains the No. 11 spot, while Arizona State University improved four positions to tie the University of Central Florida at No. 12.

Pennsylvania State University, San Diego State University, Grand Valley State University, Middlebury College and the University of Texas rank at No. 13-18, while the University of Iowa and University of Arizona complete the poll with a tie at No. 19.
