CWPA to Broadcast Entire 2009 Men's National Collegiate Club Championship This Weekend Over Internet
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) has reached an agreement with Stretch Internet to provide live, streaming video of the league's 2009 men's postseason championships.
This weekend the CWPA will provide live coverage of all 30-games of the Men's National Collegiate Club Championship live from the University of Florida's campus in Gainesville, Florida on Friday, November 13 through Sunday, November 15.
Featuring the best-of the-best, the championship pits the title-winners from each of the league's 15 non-Division III Championship divisions against one another to decide which program is the National Collegiate Club Champion for 2009.
Competition and streaming begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday when the host Gators of Florida look to knock off defending National Champion and Big Ten Division winner Michigan State University. The games will continue on Friday as UCLA-University of Minnesota (10:10 a.m.), University of Arizona-Georgia Institute of Technology (11:20 a.m.), Florida International University-Columbia University (12:30 p.m.), University of Illinois-Chicago-University of Utah (1:40 p.m.), University of Washington-Virginia Tech University (2:50 p.m.), Lindenwood University-Pennsylvania State University (4:00 p.m.) wrap-up Yale University-University of Texas (5:10 p.m.) first round action before the losers of the first round of games meet at 6:20 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:40 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. that evening.
More games are on tap for Saturday as the teams will play 12 games before the six placement games on Sunday conclude the 30-game, approximately 36 hours of water polo scheduled over the weekend.

Access to each individual contest through Stretch Internet costs $10 per event. Viewers can also purchase an individual tournament pass for $25 per sport which grants viewers access to every available broadcast during the weekend.

The first collegiate water polo conference in the nation to offer live streaming of games, the CWPA will also cover the 12-game, three-day Varsity Eastern Championship (Nov. 20-22) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
