UCLA's Max Scott Named October 19 Pacific Coast Division Player of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Max Scott (So., Glendale, Calif./La Canada) of the No. 4-nationally ranked University of California-Los Angeles men's club water polo team tallied 21 goals in four games over the weekend to earn the October 19 Pacific Coast Division Player of the Week. Overall, he helped the Bruins finish the regular season with an 8-0 mark to clinch the No. 1 seed for the Pacific Coast Southern Region Championship.
His best game of the week came in a 9-8 overtime win against host University of California-Santa Barbara, as Scott tallied six goals, including a pair in overtime, to lead the Bruins to victory. In addition, he aided UCLA in knocking off No. 12 California Polytechnic State University (10-8 W), No. 16 University of California-Irvine (12-9 W) and University of Southern California (11-6 W).
