Nebraska's Drew Tembly Named October 12 Great Plains Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Drew Tembly (Sr., Temcula, Calif.) of the University of Nebraska racked up 16 goals in a 3-1 weekend for the Cornhuskers to earn the October 12 Great Plains Division Player of the Week award and help Nebraska clinch the No. 2 seed for the upcoming division championship.

Overall, he helped Nebraska down the University of Minnesota-Duluth (20-4 W), University of Kansas (15-11 W) and Iowa State University (9-4 W), while falling to the University of Minnesota (9-6 L) as the Cornhuskers will enter the six-team Great Plains Division Championship seeking their first title.
