CWPA Southern Division-Western Region Action Heats Up in Erie this Weekend

ERIE, Pa. -- Gannon University, Penn State University-The Behrend College, Washington & Jefferson College and Mercyhurst College will lock-up this weekend as the four teams will open Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Southern Division-Western Region in Erie on September 18-20.

Action begins on Friday, September 18 as Gannon hosts crosstown rival Penn State-Behrend at 7:30 p.m. before continuing on Saturday, September 19 at Mercyhurst College as the Lakers will host PSU-Behrend at 11:00 a.m.

Competition returns to Gannon at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday as the Golden Knights will joust with the Presidents of Washington & Jefferson College before Penn State Behrend hosts W&J at 7:00 p.m. and Ganon hosts Mercyhurst at 9:00 p.m.

On Sunday, Mercyhurst and W&J will wrap-up the weekend of competition as the Lakers host the Presidents at noon.
