Texas' Matt Johnson Named September 14 Texas Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Matt Johnson (Jr., Houston, Texas) of the University of Texas men's water polo team scored 10 goals, handed out seven assists, collected five steals and made one save in 56 minutes to lead the Longhorns to a 4-0 record and earn the September 14 Texas Division Player of the Week award.

The team leader in goals, shooting percentage and assists, he helped Texas knock off University of Houston (19-2 W), Baylor University (17-2 W), Texas A&M University (8-5 W) and University of Texas "B" (12-6 W) to take the early lead in the division regular season standings.
