CWPA Releases 2009 Men's Division III Club Championship Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) has released the tentative seeding and schedule for the 2009 Men's Division III National Collegiate Club Championship set for November 7-8 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
Based on results of the 2008 Championship, the Missouri Valley Division will receive the top spot in the field, with the New York Division, North Atlantic Division, New England Division, Heartland Division, Mid-Atlantic Division, Heartland Division Runner-Up and North Atlantic Division/Host representatives taking the No. 2-8 positions, respectively.
A new Division III Collegiate Club champion will be crowned this year as 2006-08 title winner Lindenwood University has elected to compete for a spot in the National Collegiate Club Championship field set for November 13-15 at the University of Florida.
Teams which will compete in the tournament will be announced later this fall following the conclusion of the divisional championships.
