Princeton-Santa Clara Game Set for ESPNU Broadcast on September 10

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Princeton University Tigers will be the first Collegiate Water Polo Association team to appear on national television during the fall season as the Tigers home game against Santa Clara University on September 10 will be carried live on ESPNU from DeNunzio Pool.

Part of the season-opening Princeton Invitational, the 6:00 p.m. contest will be the first televised game of the 2010 men's season for the league as the Tigers will make their second consecutive season-opening appearance on ESPNU.

Last year, Princeton squared off with the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) in the first-ever Tigers' men's water polo game carried on ESPNU.  The game marked the second Princeton water polo contest aired by ESPNU as a 2009 women's water polo game against Bucknell University marked the first water polo contest to ever be shown on any of the ESPN networks.
