Filip Kisdobranski Named St. Francis College's Scholar-Athlete of the Year
BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Filip Kisdobranski (Novi Sod, Serbia/Calvert Hall College) of the Saint Francis College (N.Y.) men's water polo team recently received the 2010 SFC Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.
A two-time CWPA Scholar-Athlete team recipient with a perfect 4.0 grade point average for this four years in Brooklyn, he tallied 14 goals and four assists this season to conclude his career with 67 goals and 23 assists for 90 points.
The award caps an honor-filled career for Kisdobranski who earned All-Conference accolades in the Northern Division during the 2006 (second team) and 2007 (first team) seasons, picked up All-Tournament second team honors at the 2007 Eastern Championship and collected the 2006 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Rookie of the Year plaque.
