San Diego State to Provide Live Stats & Audio Broadcasts of 2010 NCAA Championship
SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- San Diego State University, the host site for the 2010 NCAA Women's Water Polo Championship, will provide live statistics and audio feeds of all games, as well as a webcast of the semifinals this weekend. On Sunday, the national championship game will be broadcast by CBS College Sports Network.
The tournament kicks off on Friday, May 14 when No. 2 seed and No. 1-nationally ranked the University of Southern California takes on No. 7 seed and No. 20-ranked Marist College at 12:30 p.m. PDT. No. 3 seed and No. 1-ranked the University of California-Los Angeles and No. 7 seed and ranked Loyola Marymount University -- whom CWPA Eastern Champion the University of Michigan defeated in the 2009 fifth-place game -- will follow, before No. 1 seed and No. 3-ranked Stanford takes on No. 8 seed and Division III No. 1-ranked Pomona-Pitzer College in the third game of the day at 4 p.m. PDT. The final contest of the night will pit No. 5 seed and No. 6-ranked Michigan against No. 4 seed and ranked the University of California at 5:45 p.m.
The tournament will continue on Saturday, May 15 with consolation games and the semifinals to set the field for the seventh, fifth, third and national championship games on Sunday, May 16.
