George Washington Adds Seven Recruits for 2011 Women's Water Polo Season
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- George Washington University women's water polo head coach Scott Reed has announced that seven student-athletes have made commitments to compete for the Colonials in 2011.
A quartet of student-athletes from Southern California and one each from Texas, Florida and Michigan comprise the largest recruiting class of Reed's 11-year tenure.
"With five seniors graduating, I'm anticipating this group of recruits to step in and contribute immediately in 2011," said Reed. "Each player brings great skills that will make us very balanced offensively and defensively."
