Washington & Jefferson's Polly Zeigler Named April 5 Women's Varsity Division III Defensive Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Washington & Jefferson College goalie Polly Zeigler (Sr., Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) made seven saves in a 12-6 victory over Pennsylvania State University-The Behrend College to pick up her fifth win of the season and earn the April 5 Women's Varsity Division III Defensive Player of the Week award.

The saves improve Zeigler's statistics to 73 saves with 71 goals allowed in 238 minutes as she holds a 9.55 goals against average and .507 save percentage through 11 games.
