Central Florida's Stephanie Beauchemin Named March 29 Women's Collegiate Club Southeast Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The University of Central Florida's Stephanie Beauchemin (Gr., Sanford, Fla.) scored nine goals to lead the Knights past the University of Florida, University of Georgia, Emory University and Florida State University in a 4-0 weekend to earn the March 29 Women's National Collegiate Club Southeast Division Player of the Week award.

She contributed a goal against Florida State (8-5 W), a hat-trick versus Emory (11-4 W) and four goals against Georgia (14-4 W).

In addition, she added a solo marker in the most important contest of the weekend as she found the back of the cage with 33 seconds remaining in the first period to stake UCF to a 4-1 lead on the way to an 8-7 victory over Florida to clinch the Southeast Division regular season title.  The victory over Florida also handed the Knights the No. 1 seed for the Southeast Division Championship tournament on April 10-11 at Florida State University.
