Wheaton's Kathryn Sheehy Named March 29 Women's Varsity Division III Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Wheaton College's Kathryn Sheehy (Fr., Ventura, Calif./Foothill Technology) scored nine goals over five games to lead the Thunder to a 4-1 record against Connecticut College, Macalester College, Pennsylvania State University-The Behrend College and Utica College at the second CWPA Division III Tournament and earn the March 29 Women's Varsity Division III Rookie of the Week award.

She posted a single marker in a 12-5 victory over Connecticut, while adding hat-tricks with three goals against Macalester and Penn State-Behrend in 15-7 and 15-4 victories, respectively.  In addition, she chipped in a pair of scores versus Utica in a 15-1 win and contributed defensive support in a 9-2 loss to Carthage College.
