Wheaton's Emma Higgins Named March 29 Women's Varsity Division III Co-Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Wheaton College's Emma Higgins (Jr., Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) buried 13 goals in a 4-1weekend for the Thunder against Carthage College, Connecticut College, Utica College, Pennsylvania State University-The Behrend College and Macalester College to earn a share of the March 29 Women's Varsity Division III Player of the Week award.

She contributed pairs of goals against Carthage (9-2 L), Connecticut (12-5 W) and Utica (15-1 W), while adding four goals against Penn State-Behrend (15-4 W) and three versus Macalester (15-7 W) to help raise the program's record to 9-9 on the season.

She shares the award with Catherine Flint of Macalester College.
