Hartwick's Lily Martinez Named March 22 Women's Varsity Northern Division Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Lily Martinez (Fr., Commerce, Calif./Montebello) scored once and handed out three assists to factor in half the No. 11-ranked Hawks scoring in an 8-6 victory over host Marist College to earn the March 22 Women's Varsity Northern Division Rookie of the Week award.

The award marks the third time she has been named Northern Division Rookie of the Week in the wake of previous accolades on February 15 and 22.

Overall, he helped the Hawks go 3-0 on the weekend against varsity competition as Hartwick handled St. Francis College (18-6 W) and Iona College (19-10 W) leading up to the victory over the Red Foxes.
