GVSU's Ashley Mulder Named March 1 Women's Collegiate Club Midwest Division Co-Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- No. 16-nationally ranked Grand Valley State University's Ashley Mulder (Jr., Saline, Mich.) finished the weekend with 17 goals, four assists, three steals and eight ejections-drawn to lead the Lakers to a 3-1 record and earn the March 1 Women's Collegiate Club Midwest Division Co-Player of the Week award.

She helped the Lakers defeat Ohio University (19-3 W, 15-3 W) and Miami University (13-5 W), while falling to No. 1-nationally ranked the University of Notre Dame (6-5 L).

Mulder shares the award with Ali Durkin of Notre Dame who scored 14 goals and led the team in ejections drawn in a 4-0 weekend for the Fighting Irish.
