Hartwick's Jessica McKee Named February 15 Women's Varsity Northern Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Jessica McKee (Jr., Tustin, Calif./Laguna Beach) of No. 9-nationally ranked Hartwick College tallied 13 goals, seven assists, five steals and three ejections drawn in a 5-1 weekend for the Hawks in California to earn the February 15 Women's Varsity Northern Division Player of the Week award.

She started the weekend on Friday with three goals and an assist in a 17-11 win over No. 17 California State University-Bakersfield in the Hawks' opening game of the CSU-Bakersfield Roadrunner Invitational.  Later that evening, she added a pair of tallies in a 14-8 win over Fresno Pacific University in a non-tournament single game. 

McKee tacked onto her weekend numbers with two goals and an assist in 14-10 triumph over California State University-East Bay and three tallies and three helpers, including the game-winner with just over a minute left, in a 10-9 come-from-behind triumph over University of the Pacific.

She wrapped up the five game spree with a goal and assist in a 15-6 win over Californiat State University-Monterey Bay and two goals and an assist in a loss to #13 California State University-Northridge.

In addition, she drew a pair of five-meter shots as McKee helped Hartwick wrap-up the most successful West Coast swing in program history while aiding the squad to an 8-2 season mark.
