No. 16 Indiana Falls to No. 14 UC-Santa Barbara 10-9 in Overtime

LA JOLLA, Calif. -- The No. 16-ranked Indiana University Hoosiers (1-3, 0-0 CWPA West) lost control of a three-score fourth quarter lead, falling 10-9 in overtime to No. 14 UC Santa Barbara in the opening round of the Triton Invitational. The Hoosiers led 8-5 with less than six minutes to play before the Gauchos tallied the final three goals of regulation to send it into the extra session.

Jakie Köhli and Nicole Redder continued their early season offensive production, netting three goals each in the loss. Kara Butler tied a career-high with a pair of goals for the Hoosiers, while Kate Dunn scored the lone overtime goal for Indiana.

Cassie Wyckoff made a wide-array of stops in the cage for the Hoosiers, finishing with 11 saves on 31 UCSB shot attempts. Wyckoff also tied a career-high four steals.
