CWPA Releases 2010 Women's Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) has released the schedule of games for the 2010 Women's National Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division. Competition will begin on February 13-14 at the Cunningham Aquatic Complex in Vallejo, Calif. before wrapping up with the Sierra Pacific Division Championship on April 10-11 at Schaal Aquatic Center in Davis, Calif.and Woodland Community Swimming Pool in Woodland, Calif.

Following the 16-game season opener at Cunningham, the season will continue on March 6-7 at the University of California-Santa Cruz for another 16-game event before wrapping up on April 10 at Schaal and April 11 at Woodland for the Sierra Pacific Division Championship.

The victor of the eight-team championship tournament, which is seeded based on the programs' regular season records, will earn a berth in the 2010 National Collegiate Club Championship at the University of Arizona on April 23-25.

The newest of the collegiate club divisions, the Sierra Pacific has been dominated by the University of California-Davis the past two years as the Aggies captured the 2008 and 2009 titles after California State University-Fresno claimed the first division crown and the National Collegiate Club Championship in 2007.
