CWPA Releases 2010 Women's Collegiate Club Northwest Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) has released the Women's National Collegiate Club Northwest Division schedule of games for the 2010 season. Competition will begin on January 23-24 at Central Washington University and continue to the division championship on March 6-7 at the Williamalane Aquatic Center.
Following the season-opening tournament at Central Washington, the regular season race will shift to Curtis High School in University Place, Washington on February 13-14 before moving south to Springfield, Oregon's Williamalane Aquatic Center and the Northwest Division Championship tournament.
The victor of the nine-team tournament, which is seeded based on the programs' regular season records, will earn a berth in the 2010 National Collegiate Club Championship at the University of Arizona on April 23-25.
Comprised of Central Washington, Oregon State University, University of Oregon "A", University of Oregon "B", University of Washington, Western Oregon University and Western Washington University, the division has been dominated by Oregon and Washington since 1998.
