Indiana University's Kelly Palmberg Discusses 2010 Season Outlook
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University's Kelly Palmberg (Sr., Simi Valley, Calif./Royal) recently took a break from her team's preparations for the upcoming season to speak with the Indiana Athletic Communications Office and discuss the Hoosiers' outlook for the 2010 season, opening the season at the Michigan Kick-Off Tournament and her love of the game "Rock Band".
Entering the 2010 season, she has posted 78 goals, 57 assists 69 steals in 102 games, including 19 goals, 21 assists, 23 steals and 15 ejections drawn last season.
The Indiana University water polo team will kick off the program's 13th varsity season next weekend at the Michigan Kick-Off in Ann Arbor, Mich., as the Hoosiers look to build on a solid 2009 campaign in which Indiana finished with a 21-16 overall record and a 6-1 mark in CWPA Western Division play. Head coach Barry King's squad returns 16 letterwinners and six starters, including 70 percent of their scoring from last season.
