CWPA Releases 2010 Women's Collegiate Club Southeast Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association has released the schedule of games for the 2010 Women's National Collegiate Club Southeast Division. Comprised of Emory University, Florida State University, University of Central Florida, University of Florida and University of Georgia, the division will begin play on February 20-21 in a 10-game event at Emory in Atlanta, Georgia.

Competition will continue on March 27-28 at Florida in Gainesville with the Gators hosting 10-games before the divisoin race wraps up on April 10-11 at Florida State in Tallahassee with the nine-game Southeast Division Championship tournament.  The victor of the division will earn the Southeast's automatic berth to the 2010 Women's National Collegiate Club Championship hosted by the University of Arizona in Tucson on April 23-25.

The Southeast title race should be wide-open in 2010 as the Unviersity of Central Florida shocked the division to snap an eight-year victory streak by Florida last year to capture the program's first Collegiate Water Polo Association division championship and a berth at the National Collegiate Club Championship hosted by the University of California-Davis.
