CWPA Releases 2010 Women's Collegiate Club Texas Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) has released the schedule of games for the 2010 Women's National Collegiate Club Texas Division. League play will begin on February 20-21 at Texas A&M University and conclude on the weekend of April 10-11 at Rice University with the division champion advancing to the National Collegiate Club Championship at the University of Arizona.

Comprised of Baylor University, Rice, Texas A&M, Texas State University, Texas Tech University, Trinity University and the University of Texas, the Texas Division has been a battle among Trinity, Rice, Baylor, Texas A&M and Texas since the division's founding in 2001 with each reaching the division title game.

Texas A&M, which dropped the 2009 title game to Texas last year, will host the first tournament of the year on February 20-21 as the Aggies and the rest of the division will take part in a 15-contest event.

Competition is scheduled to move over to Texas Tech on March 27-28 for a 14-game tournament.  However, the dates and game times for the contests are still tentative as of January 10.

The divisional season will wrap-up on April 10-11 at Rice University with the 11-game Texas Division Championship to decide the division's victor and representative to the National Collegiate Club Championship at the University of Arizona on April 23-25.
