2010 Women's ECAC Championship Schedule Released
CAPE COD, Mass. -- The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has released the organization's 2010 Women's Varsity Championship schedule set for February 27-28 at Princeton University in Princeton, N.J.
The host Tigers join the University of Maryland, Marist College, Brown University, Wagner College, Harvard University, Iona College and Bucknell University as the eight programs will compete for the ECAC title.
Seeded by a committee of coaches,
the teams will begin play on Saturday, February 27 at Princeton
University's DeNunzio Pool starting at 9:00 a.m. with games running
through 8:30 p.m.. On Sunday, the squads will return for the
seventh, fifth, third and championship games starting at 9:00
a.m.
Overall, Princeton holds the record for most ECAC Women's Water
Polo Championships as the Tigers captured the 2000, 2001, 2003,
2005, 2006 and 2007 titles, while Hartwick College stands in second
place with a pair of championships (2002, 2004). Bucknell (2008)
and Brown (2009) are the only other teams to win the title.
