Championship Season Come Early: Bucknell to Host St. Francis on November 2

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell University men's water polo team will end their regular season slate with a bang as the No. 20 Bison will host No. 12 Saint Francis College (N.Y.) at noon on November 2 at Kinney Natatorium.

Originally, the Bison were supposed to be home for just one weekend this year. However, a late change to the schedule helped the Bison add a sixth home game as the CWPA Northern Division powerhouse Terriers will travel to Lewisburg to take on the Southern Division contending Bison in a non-conference cross-over game.

Bucknell is 30-16 all-time at Kinney Natatorium, including 4-1 this year. It will look to improve on that record while also trying to snap a 17-game losing streak to the Terriers, who are the highest-ranked East Coast team.

Bucknell, which was selected as the No. 3 seed for the Southern Division Championship on November 7-9 at Princeton University, earned their third national ranking of the year earlier this week and will look to knock of St. Francis to move up again before championship season.
