Villanova's Sean McEleney Named Oct. 20 Mid-Atlantic Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Villanova University's Sean McEleney tallied eight goals with 11 steals and one assist to lead 'Nova over Millersville University (14-12 W), University of Delaware (8-7 W) and Drexel University (12-10 W) to earn the October 20 Mid-Atlantic Division Player of the Week award in a 3-0 week for the Wildcats.

In addition to his offensive output, McEleney served as the team's primary two-meter defender and was ejected only once during the three games.

Villanova, which clinched the No. 3 seed for the division championship, will conclude the regular season on October 24-25 at Pennsylvania State University for the Mid-Atlantic Division Championship.
