VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Andrew Jaycox (Jr., Hatfield, Pa.) scored two of his game high five goals on exclusions in the fourth period and Ryan Beck (Jr., Newton, Mass.) added one of his three goals in the fourth to account for a three-goal spurt by Wesleyan University to knock off Grinnell College 9-6 in the fifth place game at the 2008 Division III National Collegiate Club Championship at Villanova University.
Wesleyan, which entered the tournament with a pair of Division III titles (2004, 2005) and four second place finishes (2000, 2002, 2003, 2006), added another top five finish to the program's history as the Cardinals built a 3-0 lead by the end of the first period, led 5-4 at halftime, was tied 6-6 at the end of the third and used a scoring spurt to handle the Wild Turkeys.
