CWPA Announces 2008 Men's All-North & All-South Teams; Colgan & Pucarevic Named MVPs
ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association announced the 2008 Men's All-North and All-South Division Teams on November 21 as part of the 2008 Eastern Championship Hall of Fame Banquet at the DoubleTree Hotel in Annapolis, Md.
Princeton University's Brendan Colgan and Luis Nicolao were named the Southern Division MVP and Coach of the Year, while Johns Hopkins University's Mark Strickland garnered Rookie of the Year.
St. Francis College's Nemanja Pucarevic and MIT's Adam Foley garnered Northern MVP and Coach of the Year, while Brown University's Toby Espinosa was named the Rookie of the Year.
Voted on by each division's head coaches, the All-North and All-South teams honor the 14 best players in both divisions for their play based on results during the regular season.
