UCLA's Adele Young Named March 30 Pacific Coast Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Adele Young (So., Long Beach, Calif./Long Beach Poly) of No. 1-nationally ranked University of California-Los Angeles scored 12 goals with four assists and four steals in four games to lead the Bruins to a 3-1 weekend at the Miami University Invitational and earn the March 30 Pacific Coast Division Player of the Week award.

She scored five goals in a 14-2 win over Purdue University before netting the equalizer and game-winning scores in an 8-7 victory over No. 6 University of Michigan.  In addition, Young helped lead the Bruins past No. 12 Miami University (Ohio) 10-5 and factored versus No. 2 and defending national champion California Polytechnic State University in a 9-3 loss.
