Brown's Bethany Kwoka Named March 30 Northern Division Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Brown University center Bethany Kwoka (Fr., San Mateo, Calif./San Mateo) netted seven goals, three assists and six steals to lead the Bears to a 3-3 record in California last week and earn the March 30 Northern Division Rookie of the Week award.

She tallied a hat-trick in a 12-6 victory over California State University-San Bernardino, and added three more in an 11-4 win over Concordia as the Bears stopped CSU-San Bernardino, Concordia and Whittier (9-1 W), while falling to No. 3-ranked University of California-Los Angeles (15-9 L), No. 9 University of California-Irvine and No. 16 University of California-San Diego.
