George Washington's Allison Peotter Named March 2 Southern Division Rookie of the Week
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- George Washington University driver Allison Peotter (Fr., Newport Beach, Calif./Corona del Mar) totaled 14 points with eight goals and six assists in four games to lead the Colonials to a fourth place finish at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship and earn the March 2 Southern Division Rookie of the Week award.
She tallied hat-tricks in the Colonials' tournament opening 11-7 victory over St. Francis College and a 9-8 loss to Wagner College in the third place game. She chipped in a pair of markers in a 9-6 loss to No. 20 University of Maryland earlier in the week as Peotter concluded the George Washington's four game week with eight goals, six assists, seven steals and 11 sprints won, including all four swim-offs against Maryland.
The honor marks Peotter's second consecutive Rookie of the Week honor as she previously earned the award last week.
