Chatham Earns First Win 11-8 Over Penn State Behrend

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The Chatham University women's water polo team earned its first victory in its initial season of intercollegiate competition during a pair of contests this past weekend.

The Cougars, hosting its first competitions, defeated Penn State University-Behrend 11-8 before falling to Gannon University 19-5 in the nightcap during a tri-match on Saturday. Natty Burford (Fr., Temecula, Calif.) recorded six goals for the Cougars, while Amy Kuuskoski (Sr., Wilmington, N.C.) added a trio of her own.  Allison Bodine (Fr., Frederick, Md.) recorded 12 saves between the pipes in the non-conference victory.

In the team's loss to Gannon, Burford registered a pair of goals, while Selina Breiner (Fr., Moon Township, Pa.), Jenna Luek (So., Harmony, Pa.) and Kuuskoski chipped in solo markers.
