Michigan's Alison Mantel Featured on MGoBlue.com
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Sophomore Alison Mantel (Miami, Fla./Gulliver) is scribing her name all over the Michigan water polo record book and is getting the chance to talk about her experiences as well.
This season she became the
third-fastest Wolverine to reach the 50-goal milestone, needing
only 46 career games. A CWPA All-Western Division second team
selection as a freshman, Mantel set the program record for points
by a rookie with 89, proving her ability to not only score but also
to dish it out.
As she prepared for the Maize and Blue's first road tournament of
the season , she sat down with Michigan SID Ryan Sosin to discuss
class in the Arb, what is so special about Florida, and French
desserts.
