Indiana's Nicole Redder Featured on IUHoosiers.com
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The No. 18
Indiana Hoosiers women's water polo team has started the season
with a 1-6 record, after facing a difficult opening schedule that
included five of the top seven teams in the nation. During this
stretch, the Hoosiers have maintained a steady defensive effort
against their opponents. A key to the defensive success of the
Hoosiers has been sophomore Nicole Redder.
The Grandville, Mich., native has started in all seven games for
Indiana. Redder currently shares the lead in steals for the
Hoosiers with 12. She has twice tied a career-high with four steals
in a game this season, first in a 6-4 loss to No. 14 Cal State
Northridge and also in a 10-9 overtime loss to No. 7 Arizona State
in the Stanford Invite.
