Air Force's Katie Gobacz Named February 16 Southwest Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Katie Gobacz of the United States Air Force Academy scored 18 goals with eight ejections drawn in four games to earn the February 16 Southwest Division Player of the Week award. She added two five-meter penalty shots as the Falcons finished 1-3 at the division tournament hosted at the Park City Aquatic Center in Park City, Utah.

Her statistics are based on three games played as Air Force fell to the University of Colorado (11-4 L), University of Arizona (17-11 L) and the University of Utah (7-5 L) and took a 5-0 forfeit win over the University of New Mexico.

Gobacz and the rest of the Falcons wiill continue the division schedule on March 7-8 at the University of New Mexico.
