Brown's Bethany Kwoka Named February 16 Northern Division Co-Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Brown University center Bethany Kwoka (Fr., San Mateo, Calif./San Mateo) scored once against No. 8 University of Michigan (8-4 L) and twice versus the New York Athletic Club (11-9 W) to earn one half of the February 16 Northern Division Rookie of the Week award and lead the Bears to a 1-1 opening weekend at the Harvard Invitational.

She shares the honor with Harvard University's Devan Kennifer (Fr., Monterey, Calif./Santa Catalina) whotallied 10 goals in four games last weekend, including a game-high five in her collegiate debut against the New York Athletic Club. Kennifer also collected five steals in Harvard's 10-6 win over NYAC.
