CWPA Releases 2008 Men's Division III Club Championship Feedback Summary
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The Collegiate Water Polo Association has released the feedback survey summary from the 2008 Men's Division III Collegiate Club Championship on November 1-2 at Villanova University.
Below is listed a summary of the feedback received from the Division III National Championship held at Villanova University this past fall. The league hopes to implement these suggestions and appreciate everyone that took the time to submit their comments.

Regarding comments that would make the tournament better, people related the following:
Provide a list of area restaurants/bars
Host it in a bigger pool
Use floating goals in an Olympic sized pool
Offer food
Change the format to a double elimination
Advertise to area high school programs!! Build Enthusiasm
Limit to only #1's and #2's from each conference
CWPA Note: The facility type and size, tournament format, and eligible field are all determined by the member teams. Regarding advertising to the high schools, the CWPA sent notices to every high school within a two hour drive, offering a discounted ticket plan.
Other Notations:
- Individuals indicated they could hear the announcer clearly and felt the music selections were fine.
- They gave the CWPA staff high marks for courtesy and helpfulness and noted only one minor spectator issue.
- 99% found the facility easy to find and those that stayed in the league hotel felt it was fine.
- The merchandise offered met everyone's needs, although one person commented more large sizes were needed.
- Regarding the website, individuals wanted to see tournament directions posted and an earlier date and location announced. Some wanted tips about water polo and what to look for during the tournament. One individual wanted Big Ten information added (Big Ten teams are not part of the CWPA and therefore not on our website).
CWPA Note: Unfortunately several divisions declined their bid to host the tournament, delaying the confirmation of a site and date until later than normal.
