University of Michigan Takes 2009 Big 10 Women's Championship

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The University of Michigan will represent the Big 10 Conference at the 2009 National Collegiate Club Championship as the Wolverines defeated Michigan State University 4-2.

The Wolverines will seek the program's first National Collegiate Club Championship next weekend at the University of California-Davis.  In the history of the championship, the Big 10 has won three NCCC titles as Michigan State University took the 2001, 2002 and 2006 championships over University of Florida, California Polytechnic State University and Florida, respectively.
