BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Six Indiana student-athletes have been recognized for their efforts on and off the field as the February and March Scholar-Athletes and C.H.A.M.P.S. Champ of the Month. For the month of February, freshman Nate Mitchell and sophomore Jori Davis were named IU's Male and Female Scholar-Athletes of the Month, while senior Scott Kelly was named the C.H.A.M.P.S. Champ of the Month. For the month of March, freshman David Erdy and sophomore Kate Dunn (So., Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington) were honored with Indiana's Male and Female Scholar-Athlete of the Month, and freshman Marina Karamanis was named the March C.H.A.M.P.S. Champ of the Month.

Dunn, a 6-1 center, has played in 31 matches for the Hoosier water polo team and scored seven goals on 36 shots.

"Kate is a very hard worker, both in the pool and in the classroom, so this a great honor for her to get rewarded for that hard work and very well deserved," Indiana head water polo coach Barry King said.
